Help Finish My Dream Vanlife Home!

Hey lovely people!

I’m Milo, and after years of dreaming, I’m finally doing it—van life!

This van is my chance to live more freely, simply, and authentically. It’s going to be my little safe haven where I’ll sleep, eat, poop, and work! This is my leap towards living closer to nature, the ocean, the sun, animals and likeminded tribe.

I bought the Ford Transit a couple week ago, and of course: right after I bought it, the van broke down. Classic, right? I had checked it before I bought it, but was probably duped. I brought it to a mechanic and had to get a bunch of stuff fixed, and the repairs were outrageously expensive. So now, I have no money left to finish the build! This came very unexpectedly to me.

I feel like I’m in limbo right now, so I’m asking for support to make my dream come true! I would be beyond grateful if you would help me out in this time.

To turn this van into a safe, functional, and livable home, I need €2,222 to cover more of the essentials:

1. Insulation: I already got the Armaflex and the kork, now I need wood wool for the walls and fleece for the doors

2. Laminate roll out: for the floor

3. Wood: for the walls, and for all furniture like the bed, cabinets, kitchen area, table, shelves etc

4. A fridge: to prevent food waste

5. A gas cooker and gas bottle: To prepare healthy, nourishing meals

6. Lamps: for the ambiance and to do things in the dark

7. DIY separating toilet: I'll build the structure myself :)

8. Swivel table leg: for a practical table to work and eat on

9. Gas and CO2 alarm detectors: alarms so that I don’t die

10. Mattress: to sleep and dream on

11. And some more essentials like hinges, screws, drawer slides, glue etc

Of course there is so much more I could add - but these are the things that are really going to make it a livable safe home.
