4 Yr Old Third Time Fighting AML Leukemia
Donation protected
Update: called home to be with the LORD on 06/22/22.
My name is Jasmine Johnson & my child has been battling with (AML-M7) Leukemia for the last 3 years. He was first diagnosed in 2019 right before the pandemic, when he was only 11 months old. Today he is still battling with it at 3 years old. Each time Akeem has gotten very harsh & high doses of chemo treatments to put him in remission along with a stem cell transplant in hopes that the stem cell transplant would cure him. He had relapsed twice within the last two years in which I totally quit my job as a fulltime nurse to stay by my child’s side while he remains strong because his will is to live. I graduated nursing school & immediately with to work. I worked devoted to help others for 5 months before I got the horrible diagnoses for my son. I’ve never asked for money, but instead tryed starting my own busy to accommodate for the loss of my job, however this time I had moved so that my two kids would finally have their own rooms & the next day I got heartbreaking news that my 3 yr old had relapsed for the third time & that they are running out of options. My child still chooses life so he will go through the long course of treatments again & prayfully a third stem cell transplant. Unfortunately, with the holidays approaching, I have moved & I still need to go to work to provide for my children, & keep up on bills while we spend months in the hospital again. At a time like this it is very important that I get to be by my child’s side in person every step of the way because this is where he gets his unthinkable strength from, as well as myself. I tryed to never make a page like this, but I’m asking if you can help in any kind of way; that you do. So, that I am not forced to work every 12 hour shift helping others but, missing precious & valuable time with one of the loves of my life while he is hospitalized over the course of the next few months. Thanks in advance from a loving mom. Please join bethematch.org. You could be a match for my son or someone else’s child!
