Help Find North and Remi

I have cashed out the donations and split what was left after GFM took out fees. Both individuals have been notified. If any further donations come in I will continue to split the amount and send it to each of them. Thank you to all who have donated. It means so much!

I’ve heard from Allison (pet parent of Remi and Georgie) and she shared she’s incurred a considerable amount of charges/bills during this tragedy. Mona said she would help but didn’t follow through on the promise leaving Allison with considerable ER charges.

From a post by Allison “Re: costs - I have paid for everything to date. Georgie’s cremation, Remi’s pawboost, Remi and North’s targeted FB ads, my mom’s travel expenses, and Remi’s vet bill. Mona offered but left the bill unpaid at discharge. I have not heard a word from her regarding any expenses or reimbursements.

For me specifically, I will be using any funds raised towards legal expenses. I believe in full transparency of where your generosity is going so happy to answer any questions about that.”

I have been in contact with both pet parents. I have heard that there are actions being taken, and the funds will be used to move those actions forwards. With that said I will be leaving this up for one more week before closing it out and providing the funds to them. Thank you, all for your generosity!

Update

Remi has been found and is receiving medical care from a local emergency Vet. As we know this can cost a lot of money depending on the care needed. Unfortunately, the search for North has been called off due to the possibility of him being the dog hit on I5 along with Georgie.

Both families have and will continue to incur (possibly extensive) costs due to this tragedy.

While out looking for North and Remi I met North's owner and the friend (acting on behalf of Remis's owner) of Remi's owner. Like the rest of us, they are spending their time and resources looking for their dogs who were negligently lost when the Dog Resort experienced a fire. Having a missing animal is emotionally exhausting. I am hoping to alleviate at least one stress for these families while they look for their beloved animals. The funds will be split in half and used to supplement any costs they incur while looking. Any leftover funds will be divided between the two owners and used how they see fit. Thank you for your time and energy tirelessly looking for North and Remi.
