Our best friend’s little brother, Michael Kocabay, has gone missing after leaving his home Thursday morning around 8 am on September 25. For four days, Michael’s sister and mother have been pacing the 7/11 parking lot near where he was last seen, grief stricken and hoping to find any sign of him. They have not been home. Not to shower, change their clothes, or even sleep in their bed.
Michael has been fighting hard for his mental health for some time, and the family just wants to bring him home and get him the help he deserves. Michael’s disappearance has brought the most heartbreaking reality to any sister and mother. Like any family would, they have exhausted all of their funds hiring a number of resources, and now we humbly ask on their behalf for your financial support so that they may continue to hire the private investigator and search teams, print flyers, and support all of the volunteers who have been tirelessly helping this hurting family.
Michael was last seen ubering to the Angeles Forest Ranger’s office right in front of the entrance to the Angeles gun range. He was wearing gray sweatpants and a green T shirt (pictured). We have good reason to be concerned for his safety and have been unable to contact him. If you have any information on his whereabouts, please call [phone redacted].
