Help Find Louie Selam

Donation protected
Hello all,

I am Alyssa Selam, the youngest child of my father, Lewis 'Louie' Selam. My father, Louie Selam, was last seen on Wednesday, March 16th leaving Bi-Mart in Madras, Oregon. His locked car was found days later stuck on a snowdrift near Peter's Pasture, recently purchased dog food and soda still in the car. Search efforts have turned up little results. As of March 31st, the Warm Springs Tribal Police have ceased their search, citing a lack of resources and no substantial evidence to move forward with the investigation of a missing elderly Tribal member. My older sister (Angela Smith) raised $5,000 on her account, which was much appreciated but has already been spent mainly on gas and basic supplies. The search spans the Mt. Jefferson wilderness running from Shitike Creek to Warm Springs proper, a massive area in a harsh landscape. Our family will continue searching for our elderly father, husband, grandfather and friend. We hope to acquire the equipment (drones, camping equipment, water gear) needed to navigate our search safely. Ultimately we hope to find Louie soon and bring him home. Thank you to everyone who has come out to search, those who continue spreading the word of our missing loved one and all friends, family and strangers who have donated time, money or emotional support.

Many thanks,
Alyssa Selam
