This year for my birthday, I have a heartfelt wish: to bring back the joy and love of my precious cat, Kiki. For many years, she has been more than just a pet; she has been a cherished family member, my best friend, and a constant source of comfort during life’s toughest moments.

Unfortunately, during my recent time away, the cat sitter lost Kiki and did not notify me right away. Time was of the essence, and it was dire for a speedy recovery, but those crucial details were concealed from me. This has been incredibly traumatic, and I’m truly at a loss for words. Life has been painful without her, and every day feels incomplete. The nights are especially restless, as I search for comfort that only she can provide.
