It is with heavy hearts and profound sorrow that the family of Hailey Athay shares that their long, difficult mission to bring her home has finally come to an end.

After nearly a year and a half that can only be described as an unrelenting nightmare, Hailey has been found. While this discovery brings a sense of closure to the agonizing search that began after she was last seen on Thanksgiving Day in 2024, it marks the beginning of a new journey toward peace and clarity.

•Hailey was a vibrant, 33-year-old woman who leaves behind a legacy of love as a mother of three, a devoted daughter, a sister, and a granddaughter.

•To those who knew her best, she was a beautiful contradiction—a "tough girly girl" who possessed a fierce exterior but a heart defined by kindness and thoughtfulness.

•She was the person you turned to for the best advice, the one whose spitfire attitude and bubbly personality could light up any room.

Her family will forever ache for the sound of her laughter and the unique spark that made her who she was. They will remember the simple joys she loved, from the comfort of a pumpkin spice latte or music from Nickelback.

The tireless dedication of her loved ones, who searched for countless hours through the darkest of times is commendable. Their persistent efforts ensured that she was never forgotten and that she has at last been returned to the embrace of her family.

- However, bringing her home is not the final chapter. As they grieve the woman they so deeply miss, their mission has shifted toward seeking the answers and justice she deserves.

- They remain steadfast in their resolve to uncover the truth of what happened to her, fueled by the same love that carried them through the last sixteen months. Though she is gone from their sight, Hailey will remain forever in their hearts, cherished and never alone.
