On Thanksgiving weekend my boyfriend and I were snowmobiling in the back country of Utah and found a Great Pyrenees that had recently had puppies.  She was 10 miles from the nearest ranch and her flock had been off the mountain for several months.  We didn't have the resources to catch her so we returned the next day with food and treats.  We tracked her down and found her with 3 surviving pups. With the help of Weber county Search and Rescue, we were able to save the pups but unfortunately we couldn't catch the momma.  The story has since made local and  national news. There is a dedicated group of volunteers still searching for the mom.  She has been sighted on numerous occasions but is still evading rescue.  She is in bad shape and will not survive the harsh Utah winter.  The group of volunteers have spend hours and hours in pursuit and have accumulated quite a stack of bills. We are just hoping to recoup some of the cost of this rescue.  Thank you for helping!
