Help Find A Home For Abused & Abandoned Dogs
The Seychelles is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful places in the world but one thing that impacts its beauty is the 100’s of homeless, abused and neglected dogs that reside here. Everywhere you go, you will undoubtedly stumble across numerous suffering homeless dogs or mistreated pets.
It is not uncommon to find dogs permanently chained up, kept in small cages all hours of the day in boiling temperatures, injured from car accidents or find puppies dumped in plastic bags at the side of the road. Many dogs die as a result of the poor conditions they are forced to endure, many are abandoned and left to starve, many are attacked by people who see them as pests and some are even poisoned by people who want to eradicate the stray dogs.
These helpless animals want nothing more than to be loved and accepted, and that’s where Seychelles Pet Haven comes in. They spend every day doing what they can to help rescue, re-home and rehabilitate suffering strays or abused pets. They have very few donations coming in as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and are under immense pressure with the amount of dogs and other neglected animals that are brought to the shelter needing help. My goal is to help them by encouraging donations that will be put towards saving the lives of these helpless animals.
The rescue centre is not publicly funded and relies entirely on donations. They desperately need your help to buy food for the animals, pay for medical treatment, help build shelter for the sick or the ones recovering from surgery, keep the shelter operating, and so much more.
Please donate whatever you can to help these poor animals find safety and get the treatment they need!
Thank you so much for having the heart to read this and doing what you can to help those in need, every little donation means the world!!
