To Our Finches Family,

A little over five years ago, we opened the doors of a converted gas station on Mechanics Avenue and took a chance on something we believed in: good food, good neighbors, and a space where Thunderbolt and Savannah could feel like home. You showed up. You kept showing up. And you made Finches something far bigger than we ever imagined.

When we announced our closure, the outpouring of love genuinely overwhelmed us. Messages, visits, kind words, and all the puppy snuggles we could have asked for. It reminded us why we do this work, and made one thing very clear: Finches isn't just ours. It belongs to this community.

Small businesses are evaporating. We are living in a world of immense greed and inflation. But if anyone is just insane enough to overcome this, it's Finches. We opened during peak pandemic. We have been the underdog since day one. And here we are again, ready to fight.

We've launched this campaign to secure a new location, replace the fixtures a predatory lease is costing us, and restock our shelves. Every dollar goes directly toward getting back to what we do best: feeding people and building community, one sandwich at a time.

If Finches has ever been your Tuesday lunch, your slow Saturday morning, the place you came for a cry or a celebration, the first place you brought your new baby, your puppy, your new person, this is your chance to help us write the next chapter.
