My friend of 20+ years, Kady Diaby, who lives in West Africa, has multiple medical needs, including cataract surgery, and the costs of this surgery are prohibitive. Kady has no family that can support these costs in her home country, and I am her primary source of funds for medical expenses. Since I recently lost my job, this is also a major expense for me.
