Help Fin Become a Certified Personal Trainer

Hello! I’m Fin, Im 21 years old and I’m looking to get my certification in Personal Training.

When I graduated High School I had no idea what I wanted to do for a career. Financially me and my family have always struggled and I had no way of affording college. I dealt with a lot of challenges with my mental health during my last year of High School and found an ultimate escape in working out and my health overall. Through out my fitness journey, the gym has always been my sanctuary. I have helped my friends and family members get their fitness journeys started as well. I’ve found a lot of pleasure in helping those around me and watching them grow physically and mentally in the gym and with nutrition. Ultimately this is my goal to change lives around me for the better.

I work as a barista currently and I have struggled getting a new job in any other work field because I don’t have a college degree and no form of reliable transportation. I am the only one supporting myself with my rent, groceries, bills and other expenses. With a donation to help fund me becoming a personal trainer I can quit my job and fully focus on becoming a trainer.

I will be attending AAPT, American Academy of Personal Training in Boston. It’s a 6 week course starting January 27th and ending in March 2025. I hope to have most or all of the tuition covered by then! :)
