4 days ago, Monday March 10th I was blindsided and my momentum of applying to Law Schools for this fall came to a screeching halt. In 2015 I left corporate life in Boston to come home and spend time with my aging parents. Months after my father's death in March 2023, that reason became clear; my calling to pursue law in my final chapter of became crystalized. I realized it's the continuation of my passion and purpose to help others, simply a different platform for the next 20 years. The past 18 months while juggling legal landmines of managing my brother plight, and my mother’s (died 2020) and father’s estates, I took my LSATs, curated Letters of Recommendations, crafted essays, and gathered my transcripts; all required for Law School Applications. However, to my surprise the entire inheritance that was left to me was completely rerouted elsewhere earlier this week.

Although I intend to attend whatever Law School offers me a Full Ride Scholarship, the application process comes with a process and a price tag. Five days ago, these were of no concern. Now, the latter is.

Rather than give up on my calling, I am hesitantly taking this humbling and unconventional step to reach out to family and friends as a request "to sponsor" an application. Each application requires 2 payments (1) LSAC organization ($50) to process an application; and (2) the law school ($85); however, often I can call the school and ask for a Fee Waiver.
