HELP FILIP REACH HIS GOALS!
Donation protected
Dear all,
My name is Filip. I was born in 2014. My parents were so happy when they found out that I was coming! Unfortunately, I suffered a lack of oxygen on my birth, and consequently, I had a brain injury. At the age of two, doctors diagnosed me spastic cerebral quadriplegia. This is a very challenging illness. But despite this condition, I am a hardworking boy who won’t easily give up. I exercise daily and need constant rehabilitation treatments for several hours each day. Although my parents are very dedicated, and my mum is trying to provide me with the best treatments available, I still cannot speak, sit, walk, or use my hands independently. Regardless of my poor motor abilities, I am charming, curious and a very bright boy. I enjoy the company of other children, and I’m always looking forward to going to the kindergarten or a playground with my personal assistant. I can read, calculate and have lots of knowledge for an average preschooler. My parents believe in me sincerely and are trying to provide me with the best necessary treatments and therapies to help me be as independent as possible in the future. Unfortunately, all of these therapies and medical equipment are very expensive and often unavailable in my country, Serbia. As the continuity in rehabilitation and treatments is fundamental for my progress, no break can be made. Every single day counts. This is why I have to ask for your help.
By donating, you are helping me receive my rehabilitation treatments and surgical operations, make further progress, and reach my goal of being independent as much as possible. Also, you will help my parents to procure equipment and supplies for me, which will help me get better at everyday activities. The amount of donation does not matter – each Cent brings me closer to my goal.
