On the evening of May 28th, our sweet little Figment started getting sick. After hours’ long bouts of vomiting, we were able to ease her stomach troubles with some Cirenia. The next day, she seemed fine but started throwing up again. We took her to the emergency vet where she was given meds and sent home with what we thought was gastroenteritis. Over the weekend, she was not getting better. Now, after five separate trips to the emergency vet, two overnights in the hospital, and multiple medications, we are still without an answer of what is wrong with her. The vet has decided to keep her three more nights and try a new pancreatitis medicine to see if that gets her back to health. During all this, she hasn’t been able to eat since Saturday and is now on a feeding tube. We are devastated that our sweet dog is so sick and we don’t have answers. On top of that, the vet bills are stacking up and we are about at the limit of our credit. We know many of you understand the joy that our pets bring to our lives and are reaching out for any help our friends and family can provide.
