HELP FIGHT4SHAY. A MOTHER FIGHTING LEUKEMIA AND CANCER

I contracted RSV in February, unaware I was very ill. I passed out on February 17th and called my mom frantically that I needed help. My mom called an ambulance, and when I got to the hospital, my blood volume was only 5.9, which is extremely low. They started giving blood and were concerned because my white count was extremely low, and with an infection, it should be high. The hospital started giving blood, and after a few days, an oncologist came into my room with the concern of leukemia. I was so healthy before this, and I’m only 23 years old with a 1-year-old, so what did that mean? The oncologist said he would recommend a bone marrow test, and that would tell us all the answers we needed. I then got transferred to another hospital that was 20 minutes away, unaware of why I was transferred. That oncologist stated he thought I was just really sick and it hit my body all at once. He didn’t feel I needed to do the bone marrow test because by then my blood levels were coming up, but I said I didn’t want to go years not knowing if it was really leukemia, so I had the bone marrow tests. I felt better, got discharged, and my mom, my daughter, and I took a little trip to Atlanta and had a great time. While there, the oncologist called and asked if I could come to his office. I explained I was out of town but could come Thursday, March 6th 2025 As I was waiting to board the plane to come home, I got the worst call I could ever get. It was a doctor stating I did have AML leukemia with uterine cancer and a mutant called KMT2A that spreads very fast, and that they were so sorry. I handed the phone to my mom, and I had tears running down my face and hugged my daughter. I can’t possibly leave my baby with no mommy so young, and I have to do everything to fight. On APRIL 5th 2025 I started intense chemo a day before my 24th birthday. I decided to come to Mayo Hospital in Rochester, MN, to have the best chance of survival, and I need my daughter here to come see me every day and be a mommy too, even though I’m going through this chemo. I need my daughter, and she needs me. Financially, of course, I can’t bring her here unless I raise enough money to pay for an apartment for 6 months as I will be inpatient for up to 6-7 months. I’m asking please if you can give anything to reach the goal to be able to have my daughter near me. My mom is willing to keep her and move here temporarily while I undergo this medical treatment. I will have to do a bone marrow transplant too to be cured completely, which is 4 months inpatient, and I have to be in Rochester, MN, to do the transplant. I live in Wisconsin, 4-4 1/2 hours away. I also have my own apartment at home that I need to maintain so when I’m done with treatment i can go home with my daughter. Thank you so much, and please share.
