Hello Everyone,For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Krystal Angiolette. I am a 28-year-old mother of an amazingly energetic 4-year-old little boy named Sebastian. I work extremely hard in medical billing to give us the best life possible. We love to spend time together at the park, beach, washing the cars, or just relaxing on the couch watching a movie. Unfortunately, on Friday, July 20th, I decided to go to the walk-in clinic for what I thought would be a routine checkup for swelling on my neck and under my arm. They referred me to go to the emergency room immediately. After numerous tests, I have been diagnosed with Lymphoma. I couldn’t believe this because I have been healthy my entire life. Scripps Mercy Chula Vista has been nothing short of amazing to me. At the moment, I do not have health insurance, I will be responsible for the extensive medical bill in addition to my continued treatment expenses. So far, I have had two biopsies, two lymph nodes removed, and surgery to insert a catheter that I will soon be getting my chemotherapy treatments through. The doctors have narrowed this down to Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. While scary, this diagnosis is the most treatable type of Lymphoma. Because I will be receiving chemotherapy and other type of care, I will be unable to work for about a year. I know that I have a very big hospital bill coming, some of which I can afford, but know my medical expenses will continue to add up quickly. I know what is happening is scary, but I am determined to beat this and return to my normal life with my little boy. We are hoping for any size contribution along the way to help with payments towards the hospital, transportation during treatments, co-pays, medications, and any other expenses. I never imagined I would be writing out a GoFundMe description for my own situation, but I know regardless I will make it through this! Thank you so much for reading this, supporting me, thoughts, prayers, and your donation! -Krystal
