Great news! it is raining in Cuenca, Ecuador, and it looks like its going to last a few days. This may help put the fire out.

Donations have been instrumental in procuring fire-fighting supplies, safety equipment, and food.

People are resting after two intense weeks of climbing mountains to fight fire and protect their families and the forest.

We are pausing our social media campaign and donations until we know what the specific needs are during the recovery from this disaster. When we are ready, we will reopen this fundraiser with objectives that match the current circumstances. Stay tuned for updates.
