Help Fight Luke's Battle Against MS

I never in my life thought I'd be writing something like this, but life throws crazy curveballs at you and you just have to take it for what it is. These last few months I’ve spent countless nights alone, crying, asking myself… why me.
On November 1st 2023, I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS), and it threw my life into a complete whirlwind. It’s been something I’ve been fighting with for the last few months & has been a mental battle I've had to deal with internally, all while maintaining my happiness on the outside. This really taught me to always be nice to everyone, because you never know what they're going through. For those that don't know, Multiple Sclerosis is a brain disease in which the immune system eats away at the protective covering of nerves. In MS, it attacks the brain and spinal cord, resulting in nerve damage that disrupts communication between the brain and the body. The first MS episode I had was a condition called optical neuritis, which caused me to lose vision in my right eye. But, thanks to my amazing doctors and their medicine, I've been able to recover about 70% of my vision.
The good news is that we found my condition at a very early stage, so it will be a battle that's in my favor. The bad news is that there is no cure and there's a 60% chance it will get worse. That’s why I’ll be using the funds from this campaign to not only help pay for my medical bills and the extremely expensive treatment I have to undergo, but also to start my own foundation.
The Nolimit Foundation will focus on research and development to find a cure for this disease through experimental medicine, lifestyle changes, health & wellness routines and holistic approaches.
I want to help others battling this disease, and will work tirelessly with all of my soul to help find a cure – no matter what it takes. I will be partnering with the University of Miami & many others to start the foundation, and it will be the first of its kind to exist in the city of Miami. We will find a cure if my life depends on it (because it does). I know this will probably be one of the most challenging things I've ever done in my life and I know it will take a lot to accomplish this successfully, But where there's a will, there's a way. I wouldn’t call my self Nolimit if it wasn’t possible.
So, I ask that you share this post not only to help me but to also help the 1.8 million other people on this planet battling this disease who aren't as fortunate as I am.
As I begin my treatment and process this life-changing news, I need all of the support I can get from my peers, close friends, and family. You guys mean the world to me, and all of the love I have in my life is the reason I have to keep pushing forward, no matter what. I can't do this alone, but rest assured, I am maintaining a positive and healthy mindset about it all. I thank you all for being a part of my life and for believing in me and this foundation.
P.S this changes NOTHING.. we are still living life without limits & pushing towards our goals.
With love,
Nolimit
