Help Fight Kirsten’s Leukemia!

Kirsten was in her third trimester of pregnancy when her blood work began to show some irregularities. Doctors were hopeful it was minor, but a bone marrow biopsy soon confirmed their worst fears: acute myeloid leukemia.
Through the wonders of modern medicine, Kirsten was able to receive chemotherapy while pregnant, and our beautiful baby girl Mackenzie was delivered in December ‘21 completely healthy. But due to Kirsten’s genetic leukemia type, a stem cell transplant was required thereafter to ensure that she would not relapse.
Our bad luck turned to good when a perfect stem cell match was found in Sweden, and she received her donor cells in April. It has been a difficult road to recovery, with Kirsten suffering ongoing nausea, vomiting, fatigue, etc… on top of that, healthcare costs and additional child care needs for Mackenzie and her big sister Ellie have buried us under a mountain of bills (of course!).
So, as is the American way, we are asking you for a little bit of help. If you have anything to spare, your donation would be greatly, greatly appreciated. But beyond that, if you are willing to share this link to your networks and help us get the word out, that would be tremendous. Friends, family, and strangers alike, we thank you from the bottoms of
our hearts for your consideration.
