Falsely Arrested & Assaulted in Front of My Children — Help Me Fight Back

On June 15, 2025, I was pulled over on I‑65 near West Lafayette, Indiana. I was calm and compliant. The female officer who stopped me was respectful, and I was prepared to receive my ticket for speeding.

But then a second male officer arrived. Without warning or cause, he became hostile, aggressive, and physically violent. He yanked my car door open, pulled me out, bruised my arm, threw me to the ground, and screamed, "I'll break your arm!" — all while my three small children were sleeping in the back seat.

I was never read my Miranda rights. I was arrested for “resisting” even though I wasn’t resisting. I was terrified for my life and my kids’ safety. I still don’t even know the name of the officer who assaulted me.

I’m now facing court on August 11 in Lafayette, Indiana — and I can’t afford a lawyer. I’ve already had to pay hundreds in unnecessary fees to get my car out, and I’m struggling financially.
