Help fight housing insecurity with Kara and Madison

We’re the family of Kara and Madison G. In June, our rent increased by 12%. We were prepared for this; we were not, however, prepared for our electric bill unexpectedly doubling, an emergency vet visit, and unexpected vehicle maintenance. It has been a challenge to keep up with, and we are currently in the hole while we rearrange our budget to manage these increased costs of living.

Our property managers have, in general, been polite and understanding in our struggle with keeping up with rent. However, they have begun to become more aggressive in making threats to our lease. Understandably, this puts stress on housing security for us and our pets, and we would like to rectify this as soon as possible.

Any little bit helps, and our goal will put us in good shape for the future. These funds will go directly to rent so we can focus on other bills such as car insurance, electricity, and internet.
