Help Fight for Justice Against Insurance Company

I am currently being sued by a multi-million dollar insurance company after coming forward with information about conduct that hurt a number of that company’s policyholders. I’m fighting to defend my name, my livelihood, and the principle that truth should never come at the cost of personal ruin. Legal costs in a case like this is expensive, and I simply can’t afford it on my own. That’s why I’m asking for your help.

Here’s what happened.

In 2022, I was hired as an adjuster to go out to properties and write estimates for the people who had been severely affected by Hurricane Ian on behalf of an insurance company. After my inspections, multiple homeowners called me asking why my estimates were not putting them back in a pre-loss condition. Confused and caught off guard I started to go through the claims that I had been assigned and scoped. Of the 46 claims I had submitted to the insurance company, 44 of them of my estimates had been reduced, significantly. What was even more concerning is they had the audacity to send these estimates to these victims of Hurricane Ian that had clearly been changed with my name on them. They presented these altered estimates as if they were my own. This was without my approval, without my authorization, without my permission.

The Washington Post, 60 Minutes, and other outlets reported on the above. Less than a year later, the insurance company sued me, alleging millions of dollars in damages and impugning my good name.

This will be a hard fight, defending myself against these attacks, fighting to reclaim my name, and making sure the truth gets out. Still, I believe in the fight, and hope that you will help me win it.
