Help Fight for Healing for the Hammond Family

For the last 20yrs, Katie has been fighting an auto-immune disease that was recently discovered as a misdiagnosis and therefore, a mistreatment. After 20yrs of being on prednisone, Katie has now developed multiple physical challenges.
Katie now struggles with very low oxygen levels, inflammation of her organs (which causes a lot of abdominal discomfort and a swollen stomach), swollen extremities, unnecessary weight loss, and extremely low IgG antibodies, red blood cells, white blood cells and platelets, which are all necessary for fighting infection in the body.
Katie has been sent to many different doctors and specialists, who are all stumped. The closest they can get to a new diagnosis is to say she has abnormal cells that could eventually turn into leukemia or lymphoma.
Katie and Doug have chosen to try a new route and have chosen to try treating this with the help of a Functional Medicine doctor, in addition to other natural health professionals, all of which are not covered by insurance. This means Katie and Doug have to pay everything out of pocket!
At the same time, one of Katie’s jobs is being eliminated at the end of June and while she is still working diligently to build her business, it’s still going to be very hard to find a replacement for the income they will be losing.
Katie and Doug have explored the option for Katie to find a new job, however, with these new health challenges, she no longer has the strength, energy or stamina to start a new job, especially when the money she makes would have to go directly towards childcare for their 14mo old daughter.
At this point, Doug and Katie have exhausted all financial resources they have and just need some extra help to financially carry them through this season of life.
Please consider helping the Hammonds as they travel this new road with hope for relief and restored healing!
