Help fight for Eric McFarland

I am creating this fundraiser for a friend struggling with cancer. His name is Eric McFarland, he is 36 years old and lives in New Gloucester. He has a 6 year old son Bruno whom he has joint custody of.
Eric was diagnosed with Colo/ Rectal Caner in January of this year. When diagnosed he was also told it had metastasized to his liver and lungs. He still hasn’t really been given info on staging. Since being diagnosed he has already done 7 rounds of Chemotherapy and 6 weeks of radiation and finally pull form Chemotherapy to combat the large tumor in his Colon. Treatment for the portion was successful and he was able to have a major operation to remove this tumor. The operation resulted in a temporary colostomy bag. He spent 11 days in the hospital and since being released has had to be admitted 2 more times for some complications. Though quite a substantial amount of treatment, this was only the hurdle for Eric. Treatment will continue for quite some time as doctors formulate and act on a plan to address the liver and then lastly the lungs.
As you can imagine this has been a very difficult process. Though Eric has many family and friends he has endured a lot of this by himself. Eric is employed by Hannaford Distribution. Since finding out about his cancer he has spent most of this time out of work. Thus far he has had short term disability through his employer. I’m asking for your help to see Eric through. Short Term disability has now ended so he has NO income coming in. He has health insurance but while out of work is required to cover the full cost of his premium every month. This couple with child support of a sizable amount weekly makes things even tougher. Please help me help Eric. He will need to be able to pay household bills as well. Eric is a great dad and a very genuine man. Any help would be greatly appreciated and couldn’t help a better person.
