Help fight childhood cancer- Support Rex and his family
Donation protected
Rex is a bubbly and energetic 2.5-year-old little boy who brings so much joy to everyone around him. Sadly, Rex has recently been diagnosed with Wilms Tumour, a type of kidney cancer that affects young children. This diagnosis has turned his and his families world upside down.
Today, Rex bravely underwent surgery to have lines placed for what will be six weeks of chemotherapy. Following this, his medical team has determined that he will need to have his kidney removed. There is a possibility he will need radiation therapy after the surgery.
On top of the emotional toll, the financial burden is starting to weigh heavily on Rex’s family. His dad, Matt, recently began a new job, which unfortunately means he’s not eligible for paid leave. With Rex's ongoing treatments and hospital stays, both Matt and his mum Nola will need to be by his side as much as possible. This means taking unpaid time off work, which will make it difficult for them to cover their day-to-day expenses such as rent, utilities, groceries, and other household bills.
We are asking for your help to ease their financial stress during this incredibly difficult time, so they can focus all of their energy on what truly matters—helping Rex get better. Any donation, big or small, will make a huge difference and will go directly toward supporting the family.
Thank you so much for your love, support, and generosity. Every bit helps this brave little boy and his family fight against cancer.
