Help Me Fight Big Corporate for Joanne

Hi Friends, I am being sued by a Big Corporation over a Google review. Yes, a Google review! They have filed a lawsuit seeking $50k in damages over a 1-star review.

I hired FCP Live-In Care to take care of my dying 83-year-old Mom. The nurse was disgruntled with her pay and walked off the job with 2 hours' notice, while also making up a few lies to get out of the commitment. My Mom passed away two days later

I tried to get it dismissed, but that was denied, even though the judge stated, “This appears to be a hate campaign against Mr. Eaton.” FCP then offered to dismiss if I removed the review… in bully-like fashion. They also asked my attorney if I could afford to fight the case.

I feel my review will help others decide on using that company or not, and it is also my First Amendment right to express factual and truthful opinion.

To date, I have spent $10k on attorney fees. I am confident I will be able to recoup most of my attorney fees due to the frivolous nature of the lawsuit.

My next court date is March 20, 2025.

I have never asked anyone in my life for financial help, but there is zero chance I can win against their giant pockets. If I can get 1000 people to donate $10.00, that would help me win this case against Big Corporate America!! With the full intention of paying everyone back if/when the judge orders damages paid to me.
