Hi,

My name is Fig and I'm an 8 month old Groodle. On Saturday, my mum, Paige, took me for a walk around Lake Burley Griffin in Canberra where I picked up a toxin that is affecting my liver, the Vet calls it an Accute Liver Injury. I started throwing up on late Saturday night and mum took me to the Emergency Vet at 3am. The medication they gave me to stop the vomitting didn't work, so I went back to the emergency clinic and was admitted.

After 2 nights at the Emergency Vet Hospital undergoing treatment, I have been transfered to the Animal Referral Hospital where I have been admitted for more tests and targeted treatment.

I'm still hanging on and hope I can be home soon, but I'm concerned that the costs for mum are mounting, I'm asking for assistance to help mum pay for my care.

I also need to look after her and any assistance would be greatly appreciated
