Help Fifi continue making art ❤️

Hello friends,

My name is Fifi and I have been making comics about life, love, mental health, personal relationships, politics, and social issues since 2017. I have used my platform to try to do my best to share stories of my life to help others heal. Recently I stopped working my day job, went on a leave of disability, and have to supplement income via freelancing and Comics because of it. My laptop of 6 years, the laptop I use to create, organize, and format/ edit all of my work, is dead and completely unfixable. I have been facing debilitating health issues for some time, and am no longer able to work outside of freelancing and comics at the moment.

It embarrasses and pains me greatly to ask for help from the community, but my livelihood depends on my ability to create work and having a laptop. I tried every avenue to avoid this, but unfortunately did not qualify for financing from Apple or Best Buy and do not have the money to purchase one right now. I’ve faced various challenges financially in the past few years, as many of us have, and have always found a way to power through but I have accepted that asking for help is my only option right now.

I want to continue to make and share work with the community and use this opportunity and newfound time to be able to do more with my voice and platform, and would be so grateful if I’m able to raise funds to purchase a new computer with the capabilities I need to continue making work.

I have never done this before, and usually use commission work to create income in time of emergencies but as of right now I am unable to proceed without a computer.
