Help Fi Fi's Soccer Dream Come True!

Fei Fabiola (Fi Fi) Garcia is a straight-A student and has always been a happy sports loving little girl. At age 1.5, she started playing soccer at Lil Kickers a few times a week. By age 3, she was focused on playing soccer whenever she could. She has the biggest smiles spending time playing soccer and softball with her friends. Fi Fi was soon known to be small and fast. She always played up in age because of her skills and speed. The bigger kids adored her and everyone cheered for her. Her absolute favorite soccer player is Ronaldinho, the magician on the field and also the ambassador for Barcelona football club, Fi Fi's favorite team and the reason for this trip.
When she’s not in soccer, futsal, or softball, Fi Fi loves to create arts and crafts, bake, monkey bars, trampoline flips, skateboard, and spending time with her family. She attends Sts. Simon and Jude School where she has always received A's on report cards. Fi Fi loves learning about God and love. At So Cal Blues Soccer Club, Coach Rob Rennie reminds her that every challenge she faces is a gift. By the age of 7, She had earned over 50 Champion medals/trophies. Like all kids today, she loves her Youtube DIYs and Netflix shows but she never forgets to keep working towards her goal to play in the Women’s World Cup.
Fi Fi was selected to represent California in the VI Barça Academy World Cup 2020, taking place in Barcelona, Spain this April. There will be some of the best players from around the world. The Barça Academy coaches have been constantly evaluating all the current players in the academy from around the world. Only a very selective group of players have been chosen to represent the Barça Academy at the Barça Academy World Cup. Barça Academies around the world will be competing for the Championship. This competition and introduction to Barcelona is such an opportunity of a lifetime for Fi Fi this is her Dream and never thought something like this could happen. She hopes one day to represent team USA in the World Cup. She’s got a big dream and we hope you can help to make her dream come true.
The money we are trying to raise will cover Fi Fi and her parents to travel to Barcelona, Spain for 14 days to WIN the BARCA WORLD CUP and bring the medal back to Huntington Beach. Fees include flights, board, food, tournament fees, access to training sessions, tickets to a Barcelona vs. Bilbao game, tickets to a guided tour at the Montjuic and Born + Ciutadella, transportation, and miscellaneous expenses. As a selected player at the Barca World Cup, Fi Fi will attend training sessions on the field and at the beach, play friendly games, attend the opening ceremony, play four days at the World Cup games, be introduced to the Camp Nou Experience (museum + stadium), and tour the Born & Ciutadella and the Montjuic.
Through soccer, Fi Fi will represent her communities. She will carry her big smile to Barcelona and show the players who come from around the world who’s the best soccer player at age 8.
