Hallo, wij zijn FIRST Global Team Netherlands, afkomstig uit heel Nederland. We zijn een roboticateam bestaande uit tien jongeren van 15 tot en met 18 jaar. We doen mee aan de FIRST Global Competition, een roboticawedstrijd vergelijkbaar met de Olympische Spelen, met teams uit 190 landen uit de hele wereld. FIRST Global is bedoeld om jongeren te enthousiasmeren om wereldwijde uitdagingen zoals biodiversiteit en voedselzekerheid aan te pakken. Voor de wedstrijd ontwerpen, bouwen en programmeren we de robots zelf.

Dit jaar vindt FIRST Global plaats in Panama City, Panama. Omdat we in Nederland gevestigd zijn, hebben we geld nodig om deze reis te bekostigen. Het geld zal voornamelijk worden gebruikt voor onze inschrijving, vliegtickets en accommodatie.

Hi, we are FIRST Global Team Netherlands from all around the Netherlands. We are a robotics team consisting of ten 15-18 year olds. We are competing in the FIRST Global Competition, an Olympics style robotics competition with over 190 countries competing. FIRST Global is designed to excite the youth to tackle global challenges such as biodiversity and food security. For the competition we also design, build and program the robots ourselves.

This year, FIRST Global is hosted in Panama city, Panama. Since we are located in the Netherlands, we need money to fund this trip. The money will primarily be used for our registration fee, plane tickets and lodging.
