We are thrilled to announce that Flag Football Jamaica (FFJ) has officially been awarded IFAF Allied Certification! In the short time since receiving this milestone, our dedicated leadership team, coaches, and athletes have worked tirelessly to form a competitive roster ready to represent the black, green, and gold on the international stage.
Our Next Destination: El Salvador
The road to greatness is officially underway. Our next stop is the IFAF Caribbean and South American Championships in El Salvador, taking place from June 17–22. This tournament is a vital chapter in our story. As we compete against the best in the region, every snap and every touchdown brings us one step closer to our ultimate dream: qualifying for the LA28 Olympics.
We aren't just playing for a trophy; we are building the foundation for Jamaica’s Olympic legacy in Flag Football.
The Goal: Fueling the Journey. While we have secured dedicated on-field talent, our current hurdle is getting our delegation to El Salvador. To cover the costs of international flights, local transportation, nutritious meals, and safe accommodations, we estimate a cost of $1,000 - $1,200 per person.
We are deeply grateful for the foundational support from our initial sponsors:
- DryWorld: Providing our official uniforms and apparel.
- Ironsure: Supporting training equipment and our four selection camps.
- Mor Cap Financial Inc: Assisting with critical early-stage funding. This support has set the stage, but now we need the "12th man"—our friends, family, and the wider community—to help us cross the finish line and make this historic journey possible.
How You Can Support:
Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a direct impact on our ability to compete. Your donation ensures our players can focus entirely on their performance and bringing glory to Jamaica.
Please consider donating and sharing our story with your network. Help us show the world that Jamaica is a force to be reckoned with on the turf!
Thank you for being a part of the FFJ family!
