My name is Feza Anaise Umutoni, and I am seeking support to continue my Master of Public Health. I grew up in Rwanda and have always been dedicated to making health care more accessible to everyone. I received a full scholarship to Sewanee: The University of the South, where I double majored in Neurosciences and French and graduated with honors.

For the past three years, I have worked in research at Yale School of Medicine, which has deepened my passion for public health and equity.

This year, I was accepted to several top MPH programs, including Harvard, Vanderbilt, and Yale. I chose Yale because of its strong focus on global health in the Chronic Disease Epidemiology track. Yale also awarded me a 20% scholarship, and my employer had offered me part-time work to help with living costs. Even with this support, I still face a significant tuition gap for the remainder of the program. Hence, I had to transfer from Yale to the University of New Haven. However, I still need support with tuition.

Initially, I started this GoFundMe campaign to support my tuition at Yale, but since the amount was too much and I had to transfer to the University of New Haven, I still need support, so I kept it live. Your support will allow me to continue my studies and fulfill my commitment to public health, equity, and service in Rwanda and beyond.

Any contribution, large or small, will make a real difference and help me remain in the program.
