*update 21/1/25
Fëryal and her close family have survived the 470 brutal days of genocide. Now they are facing the aftermath; in 3 days time, they will have to leave the tiny room they were living in in Deir Al Balah because the owner needs it back. Their home in Jabalia (North Gaza) has been leveled to the ground (see cover photo). They have litterally nothing left from their life before the genocide. Not one wall from their home is standing, not 1 piece of furniture or clothing can be found. They are devastated and have no where to go. They need your help more than ever to rebuild their home and stay alive. Please donate and share this campaign!!! Any amount makes a difference*
Hello,
I am Klara Jarova. I met 25 year old Fëryal Adel through another fundraising campaign for a family member.
She told me about how Israel bombed their house, how they were displaced multiple times, living in horrible conditions in tents, with very little food and a constant threat to lose their life.
In her life before the war on Gaza, she was a mathematics teacher with many dreams and hopes, now she lost so much.
Fëryal asked me for help with making her campaign. After getting to know her beautiful personality and the dire situation she and her family live in, I agreed to assist her
Below a photo of Fëryal in front of her tent
Here is her story in her own words;
Hello everyone, I hope you are well. This is an appeal to everyone with a good heart. Please look into that. I am Faryal Adel, I live in Gaza and I live with my family here, which consists of 7 people. We are living in very harsh conditions here because of the war waged by the Israeli army on Gaza. For more than 9 months, we have been living in tents, a very difficult life. We left our homes in northern Gaza 9 months ago due to the violent Israeli bombing. We miraculously survived. Now we live in tents in central Gaza, in the Deir al-Balah area. We are trying to withstand and survive. Every day we are exposed to death due to severe bombardment throughout the Gaza Strip, but God wills that we survive. Unfortunately, we lost our home in northern Gaza. We lost our job. We have already lost everything
The saddest and most frightening thing is my father’s absence from us due to his transfer abroad for his cancer treatment. We desire that God grant him health. On the other hand, his absence weakens us because he was our support and provided us with morale . Everything is completely destroyed here. Gaza has become unfit for living and we would like to travel to Egypt to accompany our father. Every person who wants to leave Gaza must pay the Egyptian customs at least $5,000to leave Gaza. We are completely broken and need your help
The raised money will go towards food, travel and my fathers cancer treatment
Thank you for your understanding and sympathy, and I hope you will help us survive.
