Hi everyone, I’ve set up a GoFundMe for my facial feminisation surgery. This is something that would massively improve my quality of life and help me feel more comfortable and at peace within myself.

Transitioning over the past 2 years has genuinely been the best decision I’ve ever made, for the first time in my life I’ve been able to recognise myself and feel hopeful about my future.

Transitioning also comes with so many financial barriers, especially as a working class student. I’ve self-funded my transition entirely so far, from hormones to appointments and everything in between, and it’s been incredibly difficult at times. I’ve always tried to carry everything on my own, but I’ve realised that in order to take the next step in my journey and truly feel happy and confident in myself, I need support.

FFS is not just cosmetic to me, it’s something that would help ease so much anxiety and dysphoria that I experience daily, and allow me to move through the world feeling safer and more like myself.
