Hi. This is Brett

My beloved Fernando “Fernie” Medina passed away suddenly on Monday, July 12, 2021. Fernie was a wonderful friend who touched the lives of those around him. He was always the life of the party and brought light and love to everyone he met. He is survived by his loving family and his partner, Brett.

Fernie was a natural born people person who cared deeply for his partner, his family, his friends, and his community. He spent most of his life working in customer service where he was always known as a friendly, helpful associate who always made sure you left the store with a smile on your face. He was the kind of guy that would cover your grocery bill if you came up short or provide you a meal if you were hungry. He would constantly put others’ needs ahead of his own and if someone else having a full stomach meant he struggled with his own bills, then so be it! That’s just who Fernie was!

We are all devastated by Fernie’s loss and were not prepared for the high cost of his medical bills and funeral service. We want to give Fernie the memorial he deserves, to honor his memory and say our last goodbyes.
