Hello, my name is Fernando and I am a Black transmasc trying to survive long covid. When I made this campaign I was focused on recovering from long covid and returning to the workforce. While that is still my intention I am now finding ways to support myself while dealing with new physical ailments . About six months ago I began having concerning gastrointestinal pain that at one point forced me to be on a liquid diet. While dealing with that I also developed a lump in my breast that has resulted in increased chronic pain along with a decreased ability to breathe. I am scheduled for a consultation for breast removal surgery in February of 2026.

While awaiting surgery I am selling artwork, getting back into freelance writing and advertising dog walking services in my local community. I am trying to do everything that I can to support myself but I still need help staying housed, buying groceries and transporting myself to appointments. The remainder of this campaign is to go towards rent for December, a $700+ utility bill and general support while I await surgery. I thank you all for your continued support.
