Help Fernando Jimenez Recover from Fire Injuries

Hello all!

I’m Norma Portillo, and I have created a GoFundMe to help our friend, Fernando Jimenez, because his house caught fire on Saturday, Oct 13, 2024. He was critically injured and suffered severe burns on his body. Fernando did what most parents would do in a situation like this; he ran into the fire trying to save his family and his pets as best as he knew how. He needs to go through extensive surgeries to get all the burnt skin off and needs major skin grafting. Right now, he is in Lubbock, Texas, fighting for his life. Unfortunately, Fernando’s road to healing is going to be long, and the medical expenses to help him in his recovery are going to be significant.

Fernando is such a bright, outgoing person. He always greets happily and is willing to help everyone.

Now he and his family need help financially because they lost everything they had due to the fire.
