Hi, my name is Sunny , and I’m fundraising for my husband, Fernando, who was recently rushed to the emergency room where we received devastating news—both of his kidneys have failed.

He is now beginning dialysis treatment and will be out of work for the foreseeable future. This has been especially hard on Fernando, as he has always been the provider for our family—myself and our two children, Zoe and Francisco. He’s been working since he was just 13 years old, always putting others before himself.

We’re now facing a difficult road ahead—emotionally, physically, and financially. In addition to the mounting hospital and treatment expenses, we are struggling to keep up with monthly bills, rent, and everyday necessities. We are also currently searching for a kidney donor in hopes of giving Fernando a second chance at life.

• Basic living expenses while Fernando cannot work
