Community of West End and beyond, we need your help!

Our beloved friend, local wonder-dog Fern has been the victim of what appears to be a hit and run. With many vital organs compromised, she has needed emergency surgery. She has done well but is still under close observation.

Anyone who is lucky enough to have had a furry friend of their own, knows how expensive these surgeries are. Fern's family have already paid $6k upfront and expect expenses to get up to $13,000

Fern has lived in West End since she was a puppy and is known and loved by many. She has brought much joy to our lives so we have started this fundraiser to help her Dad cover the costs of the life-saving surgery she is currently undergoing.

So please, if Fern has ever made you smile, made you laugh, tried to share your ciggie with you by attempting to catch the smoke, shared a loving look with you, curled up under your chair whilst you were having dinner at the Burrow, played ball with you, been a cheeky little scamp or just touched your heart in any way, please consider donating to help us cover the costs of her urgent surgery.

Fern has been lucky to have been surrounded by such a loving community throughout her life (including the many housemates who have been part of her family over the years, as well as the wider West End community). She has also been lucky to survive this terrible accident. A huge thank-you to everyone who has been a part of her story so far and for the outpouring of love we have received since this morning, you all mean so much to us.
