Help Fern and Sacha Recover from the Eaton Fire

Hello friends, family, and kind strangers,

Fern has been a home-owner in Altadena since the 1970s. Over the years, she worked multiple jobs and raised her daughter, Sacha, in her home.

Sacha now has her own house where she raised her children. Both Fern and Sacha have faced many difficult life circumstances but worked hard to keep their homes, to live in and eventually pass down to their children and grandchildren.

The Eaton Canyon fire has threatened everything Fern and Sacha worked so hard to build. Both women have been displaced indefinitely, and there is significant uncertainty about whether their homes, though still standing, are livable due to smoke, ash, and fire damage. Their homes are located in some of the hardest-hit areas of Altadena.
