Help Ferial and her family to save their lives

My name is Emery, and I am a fruit and vegetable farmer in the Pacific Northwest of the United States.

I am organizing this fundraiser on behalf of my friend Ferial Hamada who is currently living in besieged Gaza, and wishes to evacuate with her family and move out of the region.

I have been friends with Ferial for about a year, and have seen her face repeated displacement, food and water insecurity, inadequate shelter from the elements, and illness. In spite of such hardship she has remained hopeful, determined, and kind.

I am Ferial from northern Gaza, I am a displaced Arabic language teacher in the south. Before the war, I lived with my family in a beautiful, warm house. We had a source of income that we could live on. We had a car that we could use to move around the city. My life was simple and beautiful, but the fateful day came that turned our lives upside down and everything beautiful that we loved disappeared.

The occupation displaced us, burned our house and our car, burned our source of income, and also burned my university. Now, for a year and a half, we have been living in a cloth tenth that does not protect us from the heat of the summer or the cold of winter. My life is very difficult and our circumstances are harsh.

There were days when we slept in the street in the open, ate spoiled food, and drank polluted water. Despite all of this, we were patient and were exposed to all kinds f diseases because of the pollution that we live in. However, we did not despair and we live with this life that we were forced to live.

But I have many dreams, the first of which is to save myself and my family, complete my studies, and become an Arabic language teacher with a graduation certificate. I am very afraid of this life that we live and the unknown, terrifying future. I want my friends to stand by me to achieve my dream and survive. With our soul and to see our beautiful future, I am very tired of this life. I hope very much that you feel me and help me and stand by my side.

During this war, I suffered from many diseases, which led to intestinal inflammation due to our consumption of spoiled and processed canned foods for more than a year and a half. I had to go to the hospital several times and live on a saline solution. Before the war, I used to eat healthy food and go to the gym to exercise and maintain my health. These are the pictures so you can see what happened to me.

I often wish to save my soul to get out of the genocide and safety and well. Please donate to me and my family to save them. Please stand with me.
