Help Fergus Get Surgery

Hi there. My name is Jay, and Fergus here is our family's pup. He recently developed avulsion fractures in both knee growth plates in his rear legs, and the best quotes for surgery that we have received are between $5,000 and $9,000.

Unfortunately, we make too much money to qualify for most financial assistance but not enough to be able to afford this surgery, and none of the clinics we've talked to are willing to set up payment plans. They recommended CareCredit (a credit card), but I was denied.

I want to be openly transparent about this: he has a limited time to have the growth plates repaired before they begin to set in the incorrect place and limit his chance of recovery.

So, we turn to the internet at large. The only other options are to either let him suffer and not walk right for the rest of his life, which does not seem humane or to euthanize him, which we would prefer not to do.
