Hello, friends and family!

A year and some odd months ago, I welcomed Fenrir, a sweet and loving dog, into my life. He's a fun mix: APBT, American Bulldog, German Shepherd, and Chow Chow! He’s got the little curly pig tail, it is so ridiculously cute! He's brought immeasurable joy and companionship after losing my absolute soul dog, but now he needs our help.

Recently, Fenrir was diagnosed with bilateral hip dysplasia, patellar luxation and degenerative bone disease. This heartbreaking news has left me feeling overwhelmed and helpless as I am simultaneously dealing with my cats pancreatitis and urinary crystals. I feel ashamed and lower than low for not being in a position to afford this. The estimated cost of surgery and recovery is significant, and it's beyond my current financial means as I live paycheck to paycheck with nothing left over to begin saving.

Please help us give Fenrir a chance to run, play, and live a pain-free life. Your support will mean the world to him and me. I have gone deep into the negatives getting my babies the help they need, but I’m in a hole I can’t dig myself out of alone. My partner is picking up odd jobs outside of work, and I’m offering my nanny services outside of my work as well. We are doing everything we possibly can for our sweet little boy. The surgery starts at, at least, $2500. I paid a little over $320 for his X-rays to find out his diagnosis + pain medication.

My last dog was incredible, but dog reactive. Fenrir, on the other hand, is a total social butterfly! He loves everyone and everything at the dog park. He's even a natural swimmer, something my previous dog was terrified of. This newfound joy is precious to me, and I'm desperate to keep sharing these experiences with him and allowing him to swim like the velvet hippo he is with his friends.
