Help Fen Fund Laser Hair Removal!

Hi! I’m Fen, a 24 year old trans woman, and I am looking for help in furthering my transition. Currently, one of my biggest sources of pain and discomfort is facial hair/beard shadow — its presence makes it hard for me to present myself to the world in an authentic way.

I worry that I will be harassed or physically harmed if I dress femininely while having visible facial hair shadow. It causes a great deal of stress and discomfort in my own body when I look in the mirror, and that pain impacts my ability to adequately function.

The primary solution sought out by people in my position is laser hair removal, which is effective and can relieve some of the tension and pain that accompanies transition. Unfortunately, laser is prohibitively expensive for me. I’d really like to be able to start on this part of the process so that I can feel comfortable moving forwards with my transition.
