My name is Irina Mora and I started a motorcycle tow business with my husband during Covid-19. I have been working hard full time and supporting our motorcycle tow business. Recently we found a competitor that was using a logo almost exactly like our logo.

I went to a company called Fiverr and had a graphic designer create our logo based off of a picture of our own truck and motorcycle. We wanted our logo to be a reflection of us and our business. We have created stickers, shirts, patches, vinyl decals, etc of this logo.

I have registered this business and have busted our butts to have top tier insurance to protect our customers property and our business. It has been hard to support this business and work full time. We have a family, this business and my job and it means everything to us. I want to protect our business but I don’t have the money to pay for a lawyer to protect me and my brand.

Apex Motow Motorcycle Towing is trying to take advantage of me as a female business owner. I have sent a cease and desist order but he has not taken me seriously. If I want to protect my business and my brand I am going to have to push this further. He has copied our logo and now he is trying to trademark it and steal it right out from under me. If I can’t come up with the money to pay for a copyright infringement lawyer I might lose my logo completely.

All the money will be used to pay for lawyer fees for this process. If there is any chance money is left over I will donate it to other female business owners to continue to help small businesses in our community

He is using a picture of a truck and bike on the lift the exact same way we are. He has stolen our idea and trying to claim it as his own.
