Help female HS Senior take UW advanced calculus
Donation protected
My name is Tutlalee and I am a 17-year-old girl from Poulsbo, Washington, formally attending North Kitsap High School. I am a rising senior currently working on college applications and intend to major in mathematics. I am particularly interested in group theory and number theory. I have taken calculus 1, 2, 3, and linear algebra, and studied differential equations and discrete mathematics. I have run out of math classes to take for senior year, so I am aiming to take the MATH 334/335/336 series at the University of Washington. This is an advanced calculus series covering proofs and rigor; uniform convergence, Fourier series and partial differential equations, vector calculus, and complex variables. However, it costs $1986 per quarter to take a five-credit class at UW as an unmatriculated student. Additionally, unmatriculated students are not offered aid. I hope to raise enough money to cover the costs of this course, $1986 over three quarters totaling $5958. It would mean a lot to me if you would support me in taking this course series. I will be delighted because I want to take this course, I love the University of Washington and would appreciate this opportunity to attend, especially if I end up leaving my home region for university.
