Hi! The reason for this GoFundMe is that we need to take our son Felix to a hospital several hours from home, for his heart surgery. Due to some vehicle issues, we are extremely low on money for the trip itself. We are seeking any aid we can to help afford the gas, food, and lodging for the trip. We expect to be gone from home for up to a week. Any help would be an amazing blessing, and we would be so grateful to be able to spend this time with our son, with a few less worries weighing on our souls. My name is Alex and I am the father to Felix. A wonderful 9-year-old, autistic boy. Felix is a happy and playful kid who, unfortunately, was born with three small holes in his heart. Later this month, he is set to have surgery to close those up. The doctors assure us this is a common surgery and the ones they've done have all been a success.

It is already paid for, and we are blessed to be getting him the help he needs.
