Anyone that knows me KNOWS felix, he’s my absolute best friend. I got him shortly after I started UoflL as an ESA and every weekend I went home i would take him with me. Anytime a cat is brought up I automatically talk about Felix. I became so attached to Felix that i refused to stay anywhere away from him.

About 2 weeks ago I took him to the urgent care vet because I had suspected he had a UTI, turns out he did and he was put on an antibiotic and a medication for feeling uncomfortable. After he finished the antibiotics I noticed he was still going back and fourth to the bathroom so I scheduled another appointment, then he didn’t pee for a while, when I got home from work yesterday he peed a bunch on the floor it was dark yellow so I called the vet again to see if I could get in sooner. Since then he has not peed at all, so I called the vet AGAIN to see if I could possibly get in sooner, they told me he’s definitely got a blockage and to take him to the ER instead because they can only do so much there. If anyone could possibly help with the expense so I can make sure Felix can get the best care he needs & go through proper surgery, he would be hospitalized for 3 days & we would go from there. I just can’t seem to let him go but I feel at a loss and don’t know what else to do.
