Yesterday, my son's beloved cat, Felix, suddenly became very sick. After rushing him to the emergency vet, we were told that he needed an immediate surgery costing $1,600 to save his life. Thanks to the support of my mother, godmother and the use of credit, I made the decision to move forward with the surgery so Felix would have a fighting chance.
Now, at 1 a.m. the following morning, we've received heartbreaking news that Felix is experiencing kidney failure. The veterinary team believes he needs additional treatment and monitoring, which will cost approximately $700 more. Without this care, his chances of survival are greatly reduced.
As a mother, I am doing everything I can to save my son's best friend and spare him the pain of losing a pet he loves dearly. Felix is more than just a cat—he is family, a source of comfort, and a cherished companion.
If you are able to donate, no amount is too small and every contribution brings Felix one step closer to recovery. If you cannot donate, sharing this fundraiser would mean the world to us.
Thank you for your kindness, prayers, and support. God bless.
